"Who wants a watch?" Sally aka Audrey

 A relaxed way of life...

Many a weekend sailor will tell you that their main problem is making sure they get back to their home port by Sunday night ready for work on Monday; well we don’t have that pressure! A typical day will begin with a cup of tea in the cockpit or maybe a swim first,

a check on Perkins (the engine) and the weather report before weighing anchor. Hopefully there will be enough wind for us to sail along the coast with breakfast en route and perhaps we will be lucky enough to be visited by dolphins who love to play between Sundowner’s twin keels. The autohelm is happy to take over for us to enjoy our lunch before the wind picks up for an exhilarating sail. By late afternoon we will be dropping anchor again in a new place, a swim, cool beer, dinner or a trip ashore – so many choices! But best of all at the end of the day fresh air through the open hatch, the stars above and the gentle swinging of the boat at anchor means there is no better sleep to be had.
